In Tepic, Mexico, the harsh realities of organized crime, corruption, and poverty have stripped tens of thousands of children of their innocence and basic rights. Every day, young boys and girls face exploitation, from sex trafficking to forced labor in dangerous industries like sugarcane farming. Many families, driven by extreme poverty, feel they have no choice but to send their children into these perilous conditions for a mere $5 a month—desperation leading to unimaginable sacrifices.

Expect Hope stands in the gap, offering a real solution. Our rescue programs work with local families and churches to break this cycle of poverty and exploitation. We reimburse families for the wages their children would have earned and, in exchange, these children attend school, receive daily meals, healthcare, and—most importantly—love.

We are on a mission to rescue 700 children, giving them a chance at education, dignity, and a future free from exploitation. But we can’t do it alone. Your generosity can transform lives and rewrite the stories of these precious children.

Kim's path led her to our Expect Hope Orphage at age 12. Despite the hardships she has faced, Kim was unshaken in her pursuit for education. Having experienced love and healing at our Expect Hope Orphanage, she is preparing for college, where she will study physical thereapy and change the path of poverty as her destiny!
